If they hold a service for Dole at the Capital, no doubt both Democrats and republicans would attend

but because Dole was a trumper in both 2016 and 2020, should trump be allowed to attend if he wanted to, because of what he did on January 6th?

from attending, but I doubt he'll come even though Dole claimed to have supported him. The spotlight would be aimed on Dole's military service and his years in the Senate, and not enough attention - probably none - paid to TFG. He couldn't stand that. I'll be very surprised if he shows up.
