My Wife Asked If I Watched On CNN Them Talking About Corporate America Supporting China's Atrocities

I guess according to her, in search of lower prices for their goods, American Corporations look the other way when it comes to what Red China does to it's own people.

That own, and run the "corporations" for the benefit of wealthy.

She said like her, because she has a retirement fund.

I said her drop in the ocean doesn't matter all that much.

It is all about "returns" for asset owners, and stock holders, and the corporation is simply the firewall.

You think "most" of America has a choice of where they shop? No, they don't. They shop where they can afford a pair of shoes or some macaroni to put on the table.

Remember the thread where people criticized someone for paying $230 for American made, union jeans. Many talked about buying $30 jeans. Those are made in China or somewhere worse.

If people had refused to buy it and demanded made in America then corporations would not have made the switch.

just like it does for authoritarian regimes all over the world. Corporations aren't people...they enjoy the rights of people yet they don't bear the attendant responsibilities of being human.
