I guess according to her, in search of lower prices for their goods, American Corporations look the other way when it comes to what Red China does to it's own people.

She said like her, because she has a retirement fund.
I said her drop in the ocean doesn't matter all that much.
It is all about "returns" for asset owners, and stock holders, and the corporation is simply the firewall.

(57,757 posts)Remember the thread where people criticized someone for paying $230 for American made, union jeans. Many talked about buying $30 jeans. Those are made in China or somewhere worse.

(8,387 posts)just like it does for authoritarian regimes all over the world. Corporations aren't people...they enjoy the rights of people yet they don't bear the attendant responsibilities of being human.
