...but he was probably one of the least nauseating Republicans out there...didn't they call him the 'hatchet"?

...there was a saying back then, "Dole for pineapple not for President."

...I guess he may be making 'pineapples' now...

I never agreed with him, but respect his service. And today's republicans make him look almost liberal.

I didn’t agree with his politics, but compared to the disgusting fascist slime that makes up the current GOP, he was a saint.
