Is this the revenge of Four Seasons Landscaping?

That was the worn-down venue in Philadelphia where Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, launched the doomed effort to block Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 presidential election. The Giuliani group meant to book the Four Seasons hotel, but somebody goofed and Giuliani ended up spouting his familiar election lies in front of an industrial garage door plastered with Trump signs. The Trump effort to overturn the election never got any more professional than that.

Trump’s new media company, called the Trump Media & Technology Group, may suffer the same amateurish delusions. An “investor presentation” the company recently filed with the Securities and Exchange commission is provoking guffaws among business analysts, with laughable evasions and barely any business strategy. “It does feel like every public action by this company is designed give the impression that it is a joke,” Bloomberg analyst Matt Levine wrote on Dec. 7.

The oddest part of the TMTG presentation is the “technology team” listed on Slide 21. The company has apparently filled 30 important jobs already, but it only lists these team members with a first name and last initial. The chief technology officer is “Josh A.” “Steve E.” is VP of engineering. One of the senior mobile developers is “BJ.” Are these real people or stand-ins? We may never know: As a footnote explains: “personnel subject to change.”

Giuliani INTENDED to hold the event where he held the event. It was in NE Philly, where Trump's support was strongest. What happened was that Trump didn't KNOW why Giuliani booked it where he did, and assumed it was the Four Seasons hotel.

We know Russia has lots of IT talent. Putin’s government appears happy to put it to work screwing America. We know that tfg is perfectly happy to have Russia do his dirty work. It's a scam to sidestep election laws. He'll get campaign donations disguised as advertisement income. He can get unlimited money this way and plenty of his supporters will "advertise" on his website or whatever he sets up. He can fill all kinds of nonsense on his creation and the MAGA's and "Qanon" people will droll over it. He can produce any propaganda or campaign ads he wants.

22. I can think of two purposes for this company.

Maybe three, but two of them would overlap.

One, a money laundering outfit to finance a future poltical run, OR to control the campaigns of other candidates. The money being laundered would come from Russia.

Two, if the company actually functions as a media outlet, Russian techs would use it to intervene in US elections and to disrupt government functioning.

Three, also if it actually functions as a media outlet. Trump is cut off from public communications by his social media bans. A media outlet of his own would give him a public voice again for spouting the Big Lie about tge 2020 election, plus adding some new ones. It would also give him a voice for countering the televised hearings coming up from the Select Committee.

He will use his own media to try to discredit every testimony and record that exposes him. He will make the claims provocative enough to force other media to give him the attention of reporting on him. He will also be able to use his private media company to call upon thugs across the country to protect the nation by protecting him from being railroaded by the "socialist" Dems.
