DU: GW Bush Era vs Now. Farther to the Left or Right?

We are all aware that the US is disturbingly the farthest to the right than it's ever been.

How about DU, from 2003 to Now?

Everyone is united under a Republican administration. It's when the Democrats run the executive that things start to fragment a bit.

I think the biggest change is that people are nicer. There seems to be little to no bullying anymore.
