General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsAnyone who thinks Romney "cleared the Commander in Chief bar" last night is either incompetent...
...or completely full of shit. The man they are talking about on that stage last night was a blathering creampuff who would have been eaten alive by any one of our enemies, let alone all of them. General Custer was a better leader in battle. Anyone who did not see his terrified, sweating and twitching awareness of just how deep in over his head he was before the world did not watch the debate.
Congratulations, President Obama. Four more years.

(8 posts)With two weeks to go until the election, it's time for the final push to help Obama get elected. I hope you can share this video, because I believe it's an important message that can help sway independents, and rouse the base. The video is a positive list of Obama's accomplishments that makes a strong case for how well Obama has gotten results. Thanks, and once again, please share!

I still would have liked Ried to have grown a fucking spine when the Dems had both houses. and there are many things I can point to... but overall yes, President Obama has done one hell of a job.
MY proof is I'm employed.

(19,458 posts)Glad you have a job! SO many people I know are now working, buying homes, buying cars, expanding their businesses. In our town during the last 2 years of Bush, the restaurants were deserted. Now they have lines out the door with many new ones. The President has kicked ass.

(49 posts)and I was not happy that we lost 4 senators to the administration. (necissary yes, but still)
AND that Senator Franken (MY Senator yay) was delayed 100 days by that asshole norm coleman.
But it felt like they were afraid to DO anything with the power they had... and honestly that's why they lost the house. Which was the MOST productive session the house has ever had... ever.
that bit always tickles me

That's what scares me so much... those fucking black boxes.
porphyrian
(18,530 posts)...will be statistically apparent. Even though the media keeps lying that this is a close race (they are doing this for profit), President Obama is curbing Romney everywhere that matters. We already have record early voting turnout in multiple states. If you want peace of mind, vote early and encourage everyone you know to do the same. However, the President will win this election.

(18,530 posts)This is not 2000, and republicans have already been busted breaking voter registration laws this year. Some investigations are not yet over. Regardless, President Obama will win by a large enough margin that they will not be able to steal this election.

Gov. Romney was the one trying to avoid a catastrophic blunder. Ironically, he came closest by profusely sweating on stage and getting a few names and countries briefly confused.

(1,589 posts)I wasnt happy about re-enlisting under Bush back in 2007. My wife finally put down her foot. 4 years later, family and professional life allowed me to re-enlist. I knew as soon as I started thinking about it, I would not sign anything for a republican president.
