300+ interviews and on and on. Sorry, I am trying to listen, not make a transcript.
IF YOU ARE CONCERNED OR OUTRAGED THAT THE COMMITTEE ISNT GETTING ANYTHING DONE, you really should be watching this.
That is all.

(8,759 posts)The Mueller investigation also conducted hundreds of interviews, produced millions of documents but this resulted in nothing tangible for the main actors ( Trump and his close allies).
I hope the work the Jan 6 committee is doing can be used by the doj to result in actual convictions but if history is any guide, I'm skeptical this will happen.

(98,883 posts)be consequences for perpetrators who planned and incited this?
There is no ambiguity that there was a plot to prevent President Biden from taking office, and only by shear luck that didn't happen

(48,962 posts)Mueller got plenty accomplished. We know how that has worked out. We can't spend 3, 4 years on this thing, not if we want to win seats in 2022.

Refreshing insight.

(58,785 posts)and they were talking about how the federal courts the tRump admin defendants are appealing to are allowing the courts to be used to kick their judicial cans down the calendar, sometimes until they've run out the clock. One case they eventually won all decisions in took two years when it could have been settled in short order.
They stopped short of accusing them as a group of colluding, just said that the customy way of handling cases has changed. At one time nonsense claims might be denied right in the courtroom, or immediately after in one-sentence decisions. Now even the quickest decisions are many paged and take at least a couple weeks.

(67,782 posts)....a long interview with him, talking mostly about the Appeals Court decision that came out a few minutes earlier denying trump's "executive privilege" claim.
Overall it was a great two hours (minus the time with pompous Eddie Glaude)
