Trump remains fixated on overturning the 2020 election and it's impossible to get him to focus on anything else, sources told Axios

Trump remains fixated with his election-fraud "big lie," sources told Axios.
He is judging allies' loyalty by how rigidly they support the false claims, the outlet said.
Sources told Axios that aides attempting to interest him in other issues have failed.
Former President Donald Trump remains fixated on overturning his loss in the 2020 election, and sees support for his bogus election fraud claims as a litmus test of loyalty, Axios reported.

Sources who spent time with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida told Axios that it's impossible to carry on an extended conversation with the former president without him returning to his election-fraud obsession.

"We try to get him onto other topics, but you always get dragged back," an unnamed Trump advisor told the outlet.

He's intensely focused on demands that Republicans "get smart" and pursue efforts to "audit" and overturn that result, a source told Axios. Several such audits of the 2020 results have been launched, but have yet to find anything.

He’s mentally unstable, a narcissist, and totally self absorbed. He cares for no one but himself. It’s embarrassing that Republicans don’t cut bait and abandon him.

He is in violation of his 1993 agreement where he changed the property from a private residence to a club, yet another fraud he undertook because he couldn’t afford the taxes in the first place.

Some city attorney apparently says it’s OK for him to live there because he is an “employee”.

What a load of shit.

Kick his ass the fuck out of there, or make him pay the property taxes due on it as if it is a private residence.

You expect any city in Floriduh to do something sensible?

NEVER gonna happen. Doesn't matter if it's a blue city or not, not a chance. It's why the Democrats constantly get the shaft there.

The closer these investigations get, the more squirmy and demanding Trump becomes. He knows the only protection he had against legal and financial liability was when he resided in the WH pretending to be president. He wants that security blanket back to cover his ass and continue the cushy grift.

No subtlety in the man. Just a panicked jackass.

Want this man as POTUS. What on earth do they think he'll do once in power. He can't seem to focus and I know other people are doing his talking for him. Why is he the one to lead them to the promised land when he is clearly too unhinged to do so. He'll spend the first year crying and getting revenge on his enemies and wasting taxpayer dollars on dumb ideas.

Padding around the decaying ar-a-Lago (the "M" fell off the sign several years ago) in his last presidential bathrobe, KFC boxes on his feet as slippers, reminiscing to anyone who'll listen about his non-existent 2nd term. And then one fine day he'll expire in his gold trimmed bed while muttering his last words ( "Supersize me" ) as his hand goes limp and falls to the floor, releasing an empty diet Coke can that silently rolls away. (Orchestra up, fade to black.)
