So, did Faux set their own tree on fire?

I haven't this posted here yet (sorry if it's a duplicate), so here goes:

Did Faux set their own tree on fire? Or, okay, do we think they did? I know the cops arrested someone, but we don't know the details yet. Personally, I wouldn't put it past Faux to do this, especially considering the coverage they've given to it.

The man accused of setting Fox News’ Christmas tree on fire has been arrested a number of times, reports say, including for allegedly exposing himself outside Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial.

Craig Tamanaha, 49, was arrested on Wednesday after the Fox News tree was seen in flames outside the network’s headquarters in New York City. Security guards told police they saw the man climbing the 50-foot tree before somehow setting it alight.

Mr Tamanaha has been charged with arson, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and a number of other charges. On his way out of court, Mr Tamanaha reportedly protested his innocence in the course of a bizarre rant.

“The mothers’ society, the mothers who rape their daughters, they set it on fire,” he told the New York Daily News. “Ask the moms who want t rape their f***ing daughters. They set it on fire. I didn’t do it. I’m going home. Anybody got a cigarette?”

Mr Tamanaha’s father, Richard Tamanaha, says his son is mentally ill. “Oh, he’s a nut. I can’t control him,” the elder Mr Tamanaha told the New York Post. “Mentally, he’s not all there.”

On the other hand, let's just all agree to say that Fox set their own tree on fire so they could cast themselves as victims, because they're such a needy, whiny bunch of assholes. Anyone who wants to claim the immolation of the tree was some kind of war on Christmas bullshit should be answered with that: Fox torched their own tree.

But they're probably waiting for us to make that claim so they can say that *we're* the conspiracy theorists
