Promote the general welfare.

First paragraph, first sentence of the Constitution says verbatim " promote the general welfare". Nothing is done to promote the general welfare is not too far off. The worst offenders are the ones that wave the Constitution with almost every thing they say while opposing any general welfare movement.

“Promote the general welfare” has been one goal established in the constitution over 200 years ago. Today poor people of 1774 had more wealth than poor people of 2021. Promote the general welfare in first sentence of first paragraph of the constitution seems to have no effect. All laws have made it easier for the wealthy to collect money. The recent attempt to over throw an election shows the power of wealth. A ten minute ride in a rocket represents enough money to start many small businesses while providing no marginal benefit other than adoration for the sponsor.

The biggest denial of promote the general welfare is the choice of charging stations over changing stations. Battery changing stations would have freed lower incomes from the burden of transportation. Now poor poor people will be charged for used EVs with worn out batteries. Battery changing stations would have provided unlimited cheap transportation without ever facing financing of a several thousand dollar battery.
