...was a scathing indictment of Meadows and trump and others.
She may be a republican who we all disagree with 90+% of the time, but she's an American first.

(9,354 posts)She has terrible opinions, but she has them with integrity. I can certainly admire integroty.
Interestly, "Psyche" on line just had an article about what constitutes honest in the newsletter from Aeon. Most interesting.

(20,662 posts)with this hearing at 7:00 EST this evening. That way, it would be broadcast live on all of the RELEVANT (cough, cough) political networks.
It was a total "boss move" on her part. Look, she's absolutely wretched when it comes to looking at things from a moral perspective, but some Republicans absolutely have their shit together when it comes to TACTICS. I'm more than happy to continue to use her for her tactical knowledge.

(6,059 posts)... a bridge too far. I'll hold my praise for her until she changes her mind about legislative suppression of democracy.

(25,410 posts)Then when she started reading FOX texts I went in and saw it was Liz Cheney.
She passed the blindfold test.
Probably a lot more credibility and impact for folks hearing this takedown from a major Republican.

(17,622 posts)She has more courage in her little finger than the rest of the trump ass kissers.
I'll give credit where credit is due. I don't agree with most of her policies, but at least she isn't afraid to stand up for her principles.

(43,307 posts)I'll support any Republican who helps save this democracy by living up to her oath to protect, defend and enforce rule of law under the Constitution, and who is for majority, not minority, rule.
She misapprehends the centuries-old racism of her party, though.

(13,003 posts)if these pseudo nuevo Republicans that have been bad mouthing and trashing Liz, stopped to realize her daddy is THE Dick Cheney.
I'm sure Daddy Dick could easily influence all kinds of people in our intelligence agencies to leak all kinds of documented stuff to her to help her take on these Trumphumping Republicans..........
I think they really really really screwed up in taking on Liz Cheney and sticking with Trump and his ass kissing maggot followers.
I fully suspect the Repubs will counter this with some huge bullshit counter action........
we can do it

Not sure if that means she'd be happy with a Liz Cheney POTUS, but who knows

(13,282 posts)But my cousin who used to be friends with him back in VA before he was VP said his wife was the scary one not him. My cousins are rich republicans who at that time were on board of Mobil Oil and Dick was a oil guy and their neighbor.
So basically she was raised by two tough ass parents.

(20,591 posts)not so much of her being an arch-conservative. She's a true patriot, yes.
