We are allowed to bash Manchin and Siema and progressives all day and night but when I call out Joe Biden for lying about canceling student loan debt as he did on the campaign trail I get locked out of the thread I posted. And yet somehow nobody is breaking this rule if they call out the above democrats and progressives. It is allowed and acceptable to do so. This happened to me and other progressives who messaged me in private during the primaries. We were all locked out of our own threads and almost banned from DU because we fervently supported progressives while we watched others trash Bernie Sanders without incident. This rule is being exploited by a certain circle of people and it is time to fix it so that a lively debate can continue.

Speaker Pelosi has more trouble with moderates lately, not counting the spat she is having now with AOC and insider trading.

Bashing is bad, rigorous debate is good.

I get very angry when I see this misrepresentation. Biden is trying to get a lot of progressive things done, but every single Republican and a handful of Democrats (Manchin and Sinema) fight him at every turn. We need the votes in Congress to pass Biden's campaign promises. That's how politics works.

I have been often exiting jury duty rather than opining over many "don't bash Democratic figures" juries for a long time.
