Kyrie Irving’s long-awaited season debut has been pushed back.

On Friday, the Nets announced that the unvaccinated Irving will be brought back this season as a part-time player and would not play in games in cities/states requiring vaccination proof.

Unfortunately for Irving, his return has been delayed after he was placed in the league’s health and safety protocols.

I certainly don't agree with him choosing to be un-vaccinated when there's a vaccine. That's his choice.

At Duke, I think it was 13 games total? He's a dumbass, and if he was attending Duke and on the team now, he'd be suspended or removed from the team for violating the rules.
Duke University Medical Center is also one of the top teaching and research facilities in the world. You think the professionals at Duke would applaud him? People have been dying of Covid at Duke for ove a year. My FIL was one of the first, last April. Their job is saving lives - like when they saved mine, from cancer.

You say Duke ranks high this year, but be honest. Duke ranks high most years; they get many of the best recruits, and they win - a lot. I don't know anything about your characterization of Coach K and I've never seen or heard anything that would make me think of him that way.

Krzyzewski goes after student reporters, got caught making vile comments online about a Mercer player that he thought weren't traceable, and a host of other behaviors that are just lousy. I can't find the story online but I know he fought allowing the women's sports to use the arena a while back.

The basketball program has some of the worst floppers, and dirty players in history. Hurley and Laetner? Ugh. It is continuous and comes from Krzyzewski himself.
