Pulitzer Prize winning Journalist David Cay Johnston says a NY DA Trump Indictment is Coming

From Seth Abram tweet (video of Johnston talking in thread):

Says it will be racketeering charge at least.

1. I hope he’s right
2. Consensus is Johnston knows something
3. I’ll believe it when I see it
4. Where the fuck is the DOJ?

5. DOJ isn't going to step over the Jan 6 committee.

The committee is doing a beautiful job of collecting data that links them all.

Who says the DOJ isn't doing anything?

The DOJ has everything they need and the public demands justice and has a right to know if something is being done.

Here’s a clue: true or false— Trump committed federal crimes in broad daylight.

Truth is, you have zero info as to what the DOJ has or is doing.

If you're privy to DOJ internal business then do tell us.
We'll wait.

11. And where'd it lead? No where. Because Bill Barr shut down Mueller's investigating it any further.

There's no Bill Barr in the DOJ today.
THUS, they can go however far the leads take them, before they offer their final findings.

You realize this is an international criminal organization they're dealing with, right?

Not easy peasy, done in a day sorta business.
That's the bullshit limited thinking.

There are people who were not pardoned by Trump as well.

So yes it lead to some justice and when Biden is the POTUS you can expect that a pardon isn’t coming .

15. Barr stopped Mueller from investigating any further.

He reported all he was allowed to at the time.
That's why Mueller appears to have done so in record time compared to DOJ.
As stated in your previous post.

Yes Mueller's findings, scant that they were at the time due to Barr's stopping it led to prosecutions later on, AS WILL everything compiled by the current investigation, and with NO Restrictions from a traitorous hack like Bill Barr.

This time around they are free to follow every lead where it takes them.

THAT's the difference between Mueller's quick report & what we thankfully have today.

7. Most likely DOJ is following proper prosecutorial protocols

even if berni can't control his impatience. NY prosecutors have been working this case for at least two years. I believe Johnson made these accusations close to a decade ago?

A RUSHED PROSECUTION IS OFTEN A FLAWED PROSECUTION.

Still, until I see packages under the tree, green under my pillow, and brightly colored eggs in every corner; any enthusiasm I have left is on hold.
