Without some kind of carve-out for voting rights, the legislation won’t pass. It wouldn’t be surprising if money has changed hands. There’s no shortage of rich Republicans intent on sinking Biden’s agenda. They have no belief in our collective good and are firmly entrenched in the plutocracy/fascism camp.
