Calling Katie Porter to help craft the Dems' message

I would love to see an ad where the voiceover asks “do you support (insert popular provision of BBB, such as paid family/life leave)?”

Then a graphic would show “these representatives agreed with you” and a blue symbol for each Dem rep, and a red symbol for each Repub who supported BBB, on the left side of the screen.

On the right screen, the same symbol scheme, but “these representatives did NOT; they kept it from happening.”

It should be obvious that it isn’t a “Dems in disarray”, “they failed us” problem. It’s a “you need to put more Dems in Congress” problem. So the final message should say something like that.

Katie Porter could do this better, but you get the idea. People need a vivid image of a mass of blue trying to do what voters want and a mass of red obstructing.

1 or 2 Democratic Senators does not warrant calling the entire party in disarray.

2. That's my point. Some in the media have talked about how Dems are

Going to be in trouble because of the failure of BBB to pass, etc. Dems need to show voters that not a single Republican in the Senate supported the popular programs voters want and THAT is the failure, which voters can fix.

3. I like it! And then also show another list of countries in the world that provide the thing

And then ask like "why do all the people in these other countries get to have this, but you, a US Citizen, do not?" or along those lines.

And then "here's the countries that don't offer this" and put up like N. Korea, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.

i'm tellin ya, that is a message that would sell.

ie- women who drop out of the workforce over childcare costs. lay out the lifetime cost of those lost earnings, and the cost to replace her as a worker.
then do the roi of supported childcare. the wages of the childcare workers, the educational benefits.

katy porter is exactly the person for this.

about why COVID isn’t yet under control (because of covidiots in red states, for example).

With the right cheery background music, it would be seen as FACT, which it is, rather than “divisive” etc.

Push the clear message of “why isn’t the media asking Republicans why they aren’t supporting BBB?” and “if voters want BBB, they must elect more Democrats.”
