First responders let man die while citing pandemic measures as hurdle

https://www.yahoo.com/news/patient-care-facility-cardiac-arrest-114739283.html

When the police officer entered a room at a southern California care facility last month, he found a panicked nurse performing chest compressions on a patient, body-camera footage shows. The patient was in cardiac arrest, and the staff did not have the proper equipment to help, according to a police report.

But just outside the entrance of the building stood paramedics equipped with possible lifesaving tools. They had refused to cross the threshold, claiming it was against state covid rules, according to the report.

Ballew said one of the first responders then turned to him and said if the care center staff did not like the policy, they "should call their congressman," the report states.

Make them work six months in that facility, after their regular shift. If they still have jobs in their department.

But really, this is them letting the person die because they are one of those shitty people who think covid rules is the same or worse than what Jews went through under Nazi Germany.

The Below paragraph is from the article in the OP . There is no way they could seriously think they were not allowed to go in and help. And that line about calling the member of Congress shows what this was all about . The only thing they proved was those who have problems with Covid measures want people to die .

"The paramedics outside the care facility might have been referencing an outdated April 2020 coronavirus memo from the San Bernardino County Fire Chiefs' Association, which noted that "personnel responding to long-term care facilities" should take steps to "minimize any potential risk for exposure," according to KTTV. One solution was for the dispatch centers to request the facility bring the patient outside. But the memo also said that if a patient cannot be moved, a first responder can enter and "interact with the patient." "

When I read the opening paragraphs, I wondered if there was a political aspect to it. I know about the battles with first responders, vaccines and measures.

When it got to the "tell your congress member" part, it confirmed it. They were willing to let this man die to make a political point.

At the very least, they should be fired. I also think the district attorney should charge them for contributing to the man's death.

It's pretty unbelievable to hear of paramedics going "with the law" as opposed to jumping right in to save someone.
