Michelle Obama, celebrity mothers use 'mom bribery' to urge COVID vaccinations

Former First Lady Michelle Obama and a group of celebrity moms are urging the public to get the COVID-19 vaccine in a newly released video.

In the nearly three-minute video, posted by The Second City, the comedy and improv group, mothers of celebrities such as Alicia Keys, NBA player Chris Paul, actress and singer Zendaya, actor Jonah Hill, and singer Adam Levine come together to convince their famous children to get vaccinated.

The mothers aren’t above using any tactic necessary, including “mom bribery,” guilt, aggressive texting, and love.

“To do it, they’ll use every power in the ‘The Mom Book,’” the video’s narrator says, before Terria Joseph, Keys’ mother, pulls out a massive ancient-looking tome of the same name.

I'd occaisionally see Liz McAlister (wife of the late Fr. Phil Berrigan), whether at some event or in their home, wearing a t-shirt that read, "Because I'm the mom, that's why".
