Reminder: WV has 2 Senators. Notice how nobody even mentions Shelley Moore Capito? She has as much responsibility for ignoring the needs of her constituents as Joe Manchin, but no one expects Republicans to give a shit about anyone so she gets a pass.

Ohio currently has one Democratic & one Republican Senator. No one expects Rob Portman to vote for BBB
b/c BBB helps people & that isn’t what Republicans do. If Tim Ryan had that seat nobody would need to give a shit about Joe Manchin. Wouldn’t that be nice? Let’s make it happen

it will have to wait until next year. So that’s my cue, only one I need.

Besides there’s a bit of a higher priority right now, with the raging epidemic and Fox and Rs still telling people it’s nothing and waging a war on truth an science.

Why isn't MSM going after repugs for being against BBB?

There were 51 people who voted against it. Do we honestly believe none of those 51 could be turned? Some of those GOPers could be as easily turned against their own party as Manchin is. Where is their weakest link? Let's break it

And I'm sure there's surveys in every state how voters feel about BBB. In fact the White House should attack
the entire reQublicOn party for being against things that would improve the lives of their constituents.
Does this go back to "We're bad at messaging"?

it, Kamala Harris can decide, then the bill passes by 51 votes.

It really is not wrong to blame the one Democrat. I think a campaign needs to be done to show WVirginians that Manchin is not working for them, to shame him.

And he did it on Faux News rubbing salt into the wounds.

None ever expected the 50 QOP Senators to break ranks. So they have done nothing ethically wrong, at least in most folks eyes - they are obstructionists and WE KNOW they are obstructionists.

Manchin broke Trust.

Manchin may eventually be forgiven, but no real Democrat, centrist or progressive, will ever again trust him.

We Will not forget.
