I took grandson for booster yesterday. Rural TN.
Hardly anyone in huge grocery store was masked, even in pharmacy & most who had mask on had it under nose.
I struck up friendly conversation with middle aged tech who was correctly masked & told her I was surprised pharmacy didn't have a line out the door for boosters.
She replied, saying if they weren't doing appts, they would have a huge line.
I smiled & told her, "no you wouldn't. Look at the customers. Hardly anyone correctly masked."
She rolled her eyes & laughed a bit & said "ya, I know."
Tbh, it seemed to me she was likely processing upcoming family holiday plans with maskholes & weighing her options.
I hope our conversation keeps her safe!
