Author Naomi Wolf claimed on Steve Bannon's podcast on Thursday that President Joe Biden had conducted a coup by ordering military doctors to assist in the surge in Covid-19 cases.

This week, Biden announced that his administration was responding to the threat of the Omicron variant by deploying about 1,000 medically-trained military personnel. FEMA has also been engaged to provide PPE, expand hospital staffing and help with vaccinations.

Bannon allotted about 15 minutes of his War Room: Pandemic podcast on Thursday to allow Wolf to explain why these actions amount to a "coup."
