7. You too...a number of my family members have Covid. Ohio has one of the worst surges

apparently. Both my daughters have it, my future daughter-in-law has it too. My future son-in-law had it at Thanksgiving. My husband just recovered...still has the exhaustion but is back at work. Many jobs are going virtual now. And our local schools are closed. I am vaxed and boosted and have not caught it thus far. I wear a mask everywhere.

15. That is so true...I mentioned just the Ohio family that is sick...my nephew in Alabama who is

unvaccinated has covid. His pregnant wife had only one shot too. They have a three-year-old who is unvaccinated as well. My niece in Georgia who has immunological issues is being treated pre-emptively. Her selfish sister refuses to be vaccinated and has refused to allow her child to be vaccinated. You can't fix stupid. So far this seems less deadly than the other forms of Covid. Although my daughter-in-law's sister who works as a surgical tech at Cleveland Clinic says the hospital is filling up...she has Covid and is off for two weeks with full pay and an allowance to pay to order food. Fingers crossed that we weather this as individuals the country as a whole. Happy Holidays.

I have lots of extended family down in middle Tennessee and surprised how few of them have been infected (or, they're hiding it). Up here in KY with my immediate family, so far only my vaxxed son-in-law got COVID. He caught it (Delta) in a rehab/treatment center but his case was mild.

I have a nasty feeling mid-January is going to be a very sad time for America.....
