Many, many churches don’t follow the lessons Jesus taught. Many of those churches are seemingly in it for the money; that’s why I suggested that the message in the OP should be put where they collect the cash to highlight their hypocrisy. I’m sorry my response wasn’t clearer.

Penalty." Dale Recinella.

His examination of the Jewish texts and traditions reveal God who makes the death penalty essentially impossible to carry through. The number of eyewitnesses required, that they couldn't have any motive against the alleged murderer, the mental and emotional state of the perpetrator. God's justice was one in which mercy was dominant and penalty was rare.

Yet fundamentalist Christians insist that the death penalty is God's requirement "eye for eye, tooth for tooth.

The second half of the book is really wonderful. First half requires persistence. Definitely a worthwhile read.

“Thou shalt not kill.”
Trump 600,000 innocent American's died of Covid on his watch and because of his lies
“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
Trump followers even the dumbest among them CAN'T deny Stormy Daniels

Trump believes grifting is his mission in life
