the movie Look Up, I highly recommend The Last Policeman trilogy by Ben H. Winters. It's likewise about a comet on a death path to Earth, and is incredibly good.

Yes, it's Don't Look Up. But I stand by my recommendation of the Ben H. Winters books.

Thought it was a biting, on-point satire of the moment we've been living through when 'don't trust your lying eyes or ears' becomes a movement, a death wish in a world drowning in the specious and superficial.
Thanks for the Winters' trilogy suggestion. I'll check it out.

We haven't seen Don't Look Up yet, but it's on our list.
