7. I've had that problem. Usually a add-on blocker.

Do you use DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials? I think that's the one I finally had to disable to see the tweet body.

12. If that doesn't work

you may have to block cookies from twitter in your Firefox settings in the "Privacy & Security / Cookies and Site Data" section (I think that is what I had to do and I was finally able to get them displayed again).

Someone else here at DU pointed out the Schrodinger's Cat paradox of blaming immigrants for "taking our jobs" while simultaneously hating them for "getting assistance through social programs and costing tax payers money."

You really can't have it both ways, but a large portion of the population keeps trying. And they will talk out of both sides of their mouth and seek out a double standard that skews their way on virtually any issue you can think of.
