DOJ should not be waiting for criminal referrals from the select committee, it should be acting on its own.

I am damn sure that DOJ can get information faster than the select committee. If it wants the Trump communications to the Willard, get a judge to issue a warrant instead of all of these law suit court cases.

DOJ is doing nothing consequential.

I challenge the wait and see crowd to give me just 1 instance where DOJ is going after the coup plotters. Just one.

with that said, maybe some of the small fish can make a big splash. We shall see.

Then what happens after the hearings? Hopefully, the small fish spill the beans, produce mountains of evidence, forcing DOJ to act, maybe even Christopher Wray will put a couple of agents on the case, who knows?

That is the best case scenario.
