I talked to an acquaintance today whose son is an ER nurse.

He is working a 24 hour shift today. He gets two half hour breaks. And it’s crazy busy the whole time, it never lets up.

No wonder so many people in the medical field are burning out. His facility didn’t get any National Guard helpers because their ER is not a Trauma Level 1. They have no more beds available and are putting patients in the hallways.

Oh, and yesterday while leaving Walmart I saw a car with a decal on the back window … FUCK JOE AND THE HOE in big white letters.

NE Ohio.

*sigh*

And I have thought for years that 12 hour shifts are insane and dangerous.

Honestly, it would make more sense to stay home and hope you recover on your own than be cared for by someone that seriously sleep deprived. I shudder to think the kind of mistakes that are being made.

I may have said some unkind things about Melania, here on DU, in regards to her lack of empathy & poor taste in holiday decorations. I have a cousin I no longer speak to, & he would say "both sides do it" & equate my unkind remarks about Melania with the bumper sticker.

that they have applied the "hoe" thing both to his wife and his VP. Apparently, Democrats are not allowed to date anyone if one of them is late in divorce proceedings, while it's fine for GOPers to screw around with anyone they want, well before any divorces are filed.

And his wife took pornographic photoshoots.

If this country elects republicans again I have no more fucks to give for it. Honestly I just can’t anymore. I fear we as a nation are too fucking stupid to survive.

I live in NE Ohio. If it ain’t Cuyahoga County or towns like Kent then it is Alabama. I live in Portage County which is red as hell. Some small islands of blue exist but overall…

in Cuyahoga County being red, but what about Cleveland within the city? And some eastern suburbs, like Euclid?

I used to live in Westlake. I worked in the city and my husband worked in North Olmsted. That was back in the 70s. I'd expect them both to be red today.

are still blue. But most of the west side and southwest side is probably purple/red. With the exception of Lakewood.

I am a Kent grad….

I would expect the far west suburbs like North Olmsted and southwest suburbs like Strongsville to be red. East suburbs probably not red until you get to Solon or maybe Mayfield Heights.

Where I am (small township that shares a zip code with Ravenna) it is red solid. Kent isn’t too far and that is a small island of blue. Aurora probably is purple depending on where you are.

The nudes of her on top of another naked woman (who looks a lot prettier) or fingering herself seem to be OK; just fine by the Evangelical Christian crowd. Never heard them call her a hoe for getting paid for having sex in front of a camera. Weird, I wonder why?
