So has Cy Vance, Jr. retired yet? Is he taking his TFG indictments with him?

Today is December 28. That leaves December 29, 30, and 31. As of typing this, that means 3-1/3 days.

Or is it Fitzmas Redux?

Thanks Cy. Great job, bud.

And the same holds true for DOJ going after Trump re Jan 6

People on our own side are now using the argument that if the DOJ doesn’t see a reason to pursue an investigation then they are right to not pursue it. THEY are they EXPERTS.

He gave Epstein a sweetheart deal and he kicked the can for years on TFG's indictments.

Are you under the impression that the District Attorney burns all his investigation documents when he leaves? The staff remains as do the active investigations.

Now, the good news is that, starting Saturday, folk here will have NEW prosecutor to second guess immediately.

there were published, public domain documents that showed that TFG gave different valuations on his properties when applying for loans and when paying his taxes.

Vance interviewed TFGs Deutsche Bank connection LAST WEEK. And that conversation was not in front of a grand jury. It was just a conversation, his first with her, and it happened LAST WEEK.

Yet after three years, with evidence that this has been ridiculously slow-walked, we who are asking for indictments are STILL being told we are just ignorant and unreasonable.

At what point are we allowed to criticize the foot-dragging on the indictments? Five years? Ten years? Twenty?

Eric Adams, Alvin Bragg Secure Historic Victories In New York's Election
Bragg said his victory signals a full-circle moment. The Democrat said he remembers being stopped at gunpoint by police and having family members in and out of the system. He also reflected on his experience of fighting for justice as the chief deputy attorney general in New York State and as a federal prosecutor.

Bragg said he is focused on combating gun violence and de-carcerating Rikers Island. The former federal prosecutor will also oversee various investigations tied to former President Donald Trump.

"The fundamental role of a district attorney is to guarantee both fairness and safety," he said. "That is the trust that’s been given to me on the ballot, but given to all of us, that’s what we’ve worked for, to show the city and the country a model for pairing partnership, pairing fairness and safety into one.”

Take a moment to dig into his background.

I've gotta feeling the pampered little rich boy from Queens is about to get his ass kicked by Harlem. For me - I'd rather see that go down with a black man in charge -

It would be icing on the cake and a cherry on top of a sundae.
