Idiot #Republican @CNBC @JimCramer makes a FOOL of himself.....

@fred_guttenberg
This tweet from @jimcramer
is pure bullshit and must be called out. This is a seasonal restocking. Either he knew that and lied, or his research and reporting is "suboptimal."

Why'd CNBC hire someone who knows so little about business to talk about business, weird

My Rite Aid looks like that - Christmas stuff gone, Valentine's to be stocked. This is seasonal and not shortages. Happens every year.

It's like he thinks no one will zoom in and see that they're getting ready for Valentines day. Face with rolling eyes

I guess Jim Cramer doesn’t know that stores have to take Christmas things off of shelves before they can put the Valentine’s Day things on the shelves. It’s not like they don’t do this every year. It’s because there are no other holidays between now & then to merchandise, Jim

Instead, evaluate their portfolio (what they're buying and holding).

All the securities talking heads are there for their entertainment value. Whether wit or eye appeal.

last year people were telling about things they could not find that they personally needed . Not it's just people repeating bs they see from bs media . in 2020 people were saying they couldn't find specific things like toilet paper or flour .

I'm sure there might be some things which are taking longer to restock right now but it's not like before .

There is so much bs out there . And things like this which cause it and have the entire right wing trash spreading it all over social media.

Retailers had so many delivery slides, merch for holiday was delivering AFTER holidays. It was cancel, or hope your product was generic enough it could sit with valentines day, somehow.

So xmas merch displays were never "as intended", and the normal sweep up, was even more of a "cleanse" of the visual on the floor. January's first 2 weeks are considered "transitional", especially in apparel. We call it "Trans", and other categories do same. Often the color scheme is Blue.
Categories appropriate to the next seasonal holiday (valentines) like candy, gifting, etc, go right to that set.

My opinion, based on our strategy ( a big box), is this year was an anomaly as well--for "resets" after xmas day. Stores are trying to clean up & right side their inventory. & manage the visual.

Also, more delivery slides are coming, so spring isnt going to be tidy either.
I guess Cramer can keep acting like he knows nothing about the supply chain situation.

the stores will start consolidating the Valentine's stuff to one side to make room for the Easter stuff on the other side, adding Easter candy, empty or decoratively-wrapped candy-filled wicker baskets, bags of plastic eggs, egg dying kits, and fake grass and whatnot.

Right after Valentine's Day, you may get a couple days of "50% off all Valentines candy/decorations/gifts" and then that stuff disappears, completely replaced with Easter stuff in the middle of February (before Lent and even if Easter is "late" and not happening until almost near the end of April). They will often add some "spring gardening" items with it for good measure.
