TN is seriously broken. 50 swabs in my ER. 47 positive. NOT ONE VACCINATED! And yet they still have no intentions of getting the vaccine. I give up. There's no fixing them.

Our health care workers are absolutely going through hell right now due to the unvaccinated idiots in this country. We have reached a point where if there is no bed space available, we need to start swapping unvaccinated COVID patients with vaccinated ones needing hospital beds for whatever reason.

If beds are available, then help anyone who needs medical assistance. Otherwise, the unvaccinated by choice adults need to move to the back of the line for health care.

As you said, when there are enough beds normal protocols are in place. I forget the term when there are no beds available where they have to pick and choose who gets care when resources are limited (it's not triage, something else).

But with regard to triage, doesn't it make sense to provide care to those with the best chance of a positive outcome and that tends to be people who are vaccinated, right? I realize there are many other factors involved in triage but, at baseline in a pandemic, it seems that those who are vaccinated would be considered as having the best chance of full recovery.

I know the slippery slope argument and, again, I realize there are more criteria involved beyond vaxxed/unvaxxed with triage, but surely this should be a serious conversation to be had?

The field hospital to treat the belligerently anti-vaxx people manned by sympathetic (perhaps also anti-vaxx Qultists) healthcare professionals seems to be the way to go, from my layperson perspective.

Our entire system feels like it's on the verge of collapsing thanks in large part to the anti-vaxx/anti-mask crowd and we're all going to suffer.

disease against medical advice then they do not need to be clogging up hospital bed space. They
can go home and read Russian medical advice on the internet or go and see Dr. Google.

Field hospitals w/wall tents, cots that can become coffins, kept warm or cooled as needed, all the
pain killers they want, no supplemental O2, no monoclonal antibody treatments if other vaccinated
break through cases need it, minimal low risk interaction with nurses, and simple food & water.

Both children and adults. The only people with few exceptions of any age still going to the hospital are both unvaxxed and either obese, have heart disease, diabetes.
