Do you think Manchin will agree to a 1.7T BBB bill?

...in some form?

1. I think his goalposts will be in constant motion, and with so many variables he both will and won't

agree to that figure at different points in time depending on the other factors included in the bill, but some of those other factors on versions of the bill which meet that figure may make the bill impossible for other Senators or the House.

…he’ll then flip-flop and claim the Omicron surge is so severe, we have to take “a step back” until it’s over.

Right now, I’m just hoping he’ll first go along to get a version of HR1 passed.

4. No because he is more interested in his own coal business. He is more

interested in going on Fox and damaging Biden/Democrat chances in the 2022 and 2024 elections than in doing the right thing.

I think he would vote for a bill that he agreed actually cost that much (has in fact outlines one), but I don’t think one will be put forward for him to vote on.

7. Best move is to break it up into pieces

And push it piece by piece.

Possibly get a Romney, Murkowski or Collins to play along.

He probably would only agree to that much if all the money went to coal & gas companies and billionaire tax cut.

Not sure if it is fear of Ghislaine Maxwell spilling it the Jan 6 commission hearings. But there is something that his overlords want ignored by MSM. So, he will pretend to be a democrat negotiating in good faith for a few weeks and then kill BBB for good.

Unless, of course, the donors tell him to do something differently.
