If they haven't faced the truth after a year of disproofs, doubtful that most ever will.

One potential problem could be with them serving on juries where it may only take one vote to decide a case. I don't know if anything can be done to reliably protect juries from delusional loons. Some corrupt lawyers may actually want to place such fools on the jury in order to "win" their case.
