TFG's January 6 anniversary speech will defend protesters, instead blame antifa and the FBI

Former President Donald Trump plans to defend the January 6 protesters in a speech on year on, and will likely push conspiracy theories blaming antifa and the FBI for the violence, a source told Axios.

Trump is planning to deliver an address from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to mark a year since rioters fueled by his false claims of a stolen election sacked the US Capitol.

The event is intended as "counter-programming" to the solemn events planned by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi around the Capitol on the anniversary,

According to the Axios source, Trump will seek to portray the commission set up to investigate the attack as a "witch hunt." His plan is to again push the untrue claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him as a result of mass fraud, the report said.

I don't know who will be their asshole for the 2024 presidential run (not shithole) but 2022 is not a guarantee. What polls don't ask are pertinent questions about the mentality of the GQPs, the conspiracies, etc. Most sane Americans know they are crazy, crazy that includes both GQP politicians and donors. Most same Americans know that "Democracy" is at stake.

Shithole is insane and so are his comrades. GQP so called news outlets feeds on it.

breach, that it was "a Federal employee" egging them on.

Uh, even if that were somebody "sent" by the government, WHO was in control of "the government"?! Hint: Drumpf. If the thing was being done, it was for his benefit and wishes.

Those flounders went so far down the rabbit hole that their poles have reversed, never to be corrected again (unless they're on ventilators-- I've read of some deathbed conversions from Trump's idiot base who finally concede before final passing that maybe... just maybe, science was right).

I'm not too worried about violence this time around-- they've shown their tails and shown the courage of their convictions by disavowing their own actions and agendas.
