According to Navarro, Pence didn't betray America. He betrayed Trump.

The interrupting is annoying, but it's necessary. Otherwise, the guy is going to Gish-Gallop you with false claim after false claim, and you'll have let them pass so when you do make your case, you not only have to present your side, but now you have a mountain of unanswered claims to deal with as well. 32. Oh, I don't know. To me it was kind of fascinating watching him in action.

The whole package, the spiel, the body language, all of it, is designed to overwhelm his opponent. Even the big grin he displayed was to disarm Ari. But Ari was having none of it. I was practically cheering for Ari as he was going toe to toe with Navarro. Of course, Navarro is selling his book so he doesn’t mind going on a show like Ari’s and strutting his stuff. There are a few people that are really good at that tactic and the harder Ari bore down on him, made him just try harder. Navarro has the talk fast, move the hands emphatically and never pause down to an art.

However, just follow along and his logic falls apart. I don’t care how many documents he read. How many thousand pages he devoured. A lie is still a lie no matter how pretty you wrap it up and put a bow on it.

I hope that as the tweets, texts and emails are revealed, those who are curious what really happened will wake up. Just as some of the people who carried out the Jan. 6th insurrection are coming to realize they were misled and fed lies, let us hope that those who blindly voted for tRump will understand they were duped as well.

I am eager for the hearings to start. Pop some corn, pour a beverage or two and pull up a chair.
