a reminder about Merrick Garland

Merrick Garland's investigation of Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols, and the Unabomber had zero leaks before indictments, 100% convictions, and no turnovers on appeal. So there's hope yet that we'll see the liar in charge do a perp walk yet for conspiracy to foment an insurrection.

No. But it really looks like he is being methodical, accurate, and thorough. It is vitally important that we have valid charges and get convictions than rush things. I am seeing hopeful signs that the investigation is deeper than we think and further doing than we know. Let’s watch what is going on, but let his team concentrate on what they’re doing

That some, after much scrutiny and parsing didn't like, so that baby needs to be ejected from that bathwater, pronto.

...Garland was thirty years younger, then.

And neither McVeigh, Nichols, nor the Unabomber attempted violent overthrow of the government with scores of co-conspirators.

Apples and oranges.

to them exploits voter suppression, taking over the government and letting them off the hook.

If you have hard evidence that implicates Trump and would convince a jury, feel free to share it.

And it wasn't a particularly difficult case to prosecute. There was a s*** ton of evidence.

A larger conspiracy to overthrow an election and a government is much more serious than mass murder (bigger scope, not that mass murder is ok) and it's certainly much more complicated.

they blew up an occupied fucking building.

And I think in McV's case was hoping to help incite a race war ala Turner Diary plans.

Sure it's not overturning a Presidential election...
but still.
