Annie Linskey over at WaPo is at it again: "Biden, funerals and a bygone America"

Biden, who heads to Sen. Harry M. Reid’s memorial Saturday — his seventh as president — uses funerals to honor his friendships and make a point about bipartisanship.

Not everyone thinks it’s the best use of his time.

You'll remember her from this shit post, when he was visiting Beau's grave:

No Republicans spoke on the Senate floor about Jan. 6 today. A number of them, including Mitch McConnell, were in Georgia for the late Sen. Johnny Isakson’s memorial services

401k that McChinless made a call to the Isakson family at some point, and said, "You know what would be a really great day to hold the memorial service for Johnny?"

It was a perfect excuse for all of those despicable cowards to beat it out of town, and not have to deal with any of those pesky questions from D.C. beat reporters about their seemingly INCREASING level of fealty to Mango Mussolini.

Criticizing someone for attending a colleague/friend's funeral and/or honoring your own dead.

Suggestion? If you have nothing to write about consider writing nothing at all.

Not everyone thinks it's the best use of his time.

Many people say this. Sound familiar?

The article itself is at https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/biden-funerals-reid-dole/2022/01/07/5dab092e-6fdf-11ec-aaa8-35d1865a6977_story.html

which doesn't have the "not everyone thinks it’s the best use of his time" - there's a paragraph or two that implies that, but on the whole it seems to be saying it's good that he goes.
