It was a perfect excuse for all of those despicable cowards to beat it out of town, and not have to deal with any of those pesky questions from D.C. beat reporters about their seemingly INCREASING level of fealty to Mango Mussolini.

which doesn't have the "not everyone thinks its the best use of his time" - there's a paragraph or two that implies that, but on the whole it seems to be saying it's good that he goes.
