I just started watching Interview with the Vampire.

I had no idea these two ever made a movie together.

Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt sucking the life out of some woman. It's kind of bizarre seeing these attractive men drink blood together.

1. Tom Cruise as Lestat always seemed weird

Even Anne Rice mentioned she had Rutger Hauer in mind for Lestat. Since Lestat becomes a rock star in a later book, that doesn't seem to really work either. Stuart Townsend was probably the best choice of the three for Queen of the Damned.

2. Rutger Hauer ironically did play a vampire

4. Years ago when I first saw it I thought Pitt did a very good job

That’s why I decided to watch it tonight. I still think he was good even though I’m not a huge fan.

Had no idea Pitt was. Neither one strikes me as the vampire type.

5. I loved reading the 'Vampire Chronicles' of Ann Rice

saw the movie, and preferred the books.
