Raskin said she also “identified some lines of inquiry that had never occurred to me.”

in the process of being dealt with. Seems like they are getting a fine, 20 minutes in jail and 14 minutes of community service if that. Personally I would cart all their domestic terrorists backsides off to Gitmo and toss the key.

So be careful putting words in my mouth or those of others. I am not particularly pleased with the sentences sought or given out to those who have been through the system and would take the lot of them to Gitmo never to be seen again if I had my way. That in no way is a criticism of the pace of investigations or the rate at which they are being processed. It is a massive task and I believe that the investigators are doing a pretty good job. The lenient sentences and post arrest process is my beef. If these folks were people of color they wouldn’t be around to be processed.

to do what's right, then by inference you are also impugning Biden, because Garland reports to Biden. So if you think that Biden and Garland have agreed not to pursue the planners of the coup, then either you think that they are corrupt, or they have been intimidated into compliance. In either case, what are you going to do? I'm not asking what should be done by the authorities. We can all come up with a laundry list of what should happen.

What I'm asking is: do you really think that Biden is either corrupt, or has been intimidated into compliance?

will be written off by Trumphumping/Republican voters as just more "Fake News", an "illegal political witch hunt",
and left wing propaganda........

Everyone watched the second impeachment with McConnell saying everything the Dems were saying, and somewhat agreeing that it took place....the whole complete Sedition. And then they all turned around and voted not guilty...........

I guess they showed us. They know the truth, and don't give a rats ass about reality. Talk about "in your face" flaunting of their power and literally laughing us off......

We are not a dictatorship with a political party deciding who gets prosecuted. Smart criminals often elude prosecution because they know better than to create lots of incriminating evidence. That does not mean the system is flawed, it means everyone's rights are protected against injustice. Albeit, under #FailedCoupGut's DoJ the system was broken by dictatorial tactics and yet a bunch of minions were sent to jail.

I will be neither shocked nor surprised by anything that comes of it.

I am grateful however of the thorough and detailed job Rep. Raskin and crew are doing, and hope they get what they need for a successful prosecution however long it may take. The important thing for all of us is they are doing it.
