The "Supreme" Court approaching "They've made their ruling, let them enforce it" territory
We fought a war about "State Rights". In that case, it was about the States Rights to subject an entire race of people to slavery and murder.
Now, it's about a States Rights to murder citizens of every race.
Or, they'll find the "nuance" that this is really about "federal regulatory overreach", and how, if we really want a vaccine mandate, just go the "easy" route and have Congress pass it. Good Luck with that Senate filibuster though.
I mean really, everyone knows that when you sneeze in Kentucky, the droplets stop at the border.
The Supremes saying to go through Congress is like Gunny Sargent Hartman telling Private Pile that "if God wanted you to reach the top of this obstacle, he would have miracled your ass up there".
It's taken them 160 years, but the Confederates have won the war without firing a single shot since Appomatox.
And please make no mistake. That truly is what this is all about.
It's not cultural stuff.
It's not abortion.
It's not religious freedom.
If your think billionaires and corporations spent decades of planning and billions of dollars to buy the current Supreme Court because of those issues, well, you haven't been paying attention.
Those issues were all a distraction to the real goal. To return us to the "golden" age of 'Murika, when the wealthy, well connected and "mostly" white landowners raped the resources of this country, and the workers they controlled.
My hope is that this will be like the dog that finally catches the car. You've done it now Retrumplicans. You've constructed your Golden Calf, but what are your going to do when people reject the authority of this court.
If January 6 is any indication, I expect you to move to violence to protect your nefarious power.
