. . . . . says Mourdoch's comments were a case of misarticulation. He explained, in oh so gentle a voice, how Mourdoch did not mean in any way to say rape was God's will, but rather that every life, no matter the circumstances of its conception, is precious.
AAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!
Wrong-o, Dapper Dan.
By that logic, the raped woman, now pregnant, who wishes NOT to carry that child to term, for a million OBVIOUS reasons, must have her body held hostage by people who intone and put in place such policies?
Sorry, Mikey. That's a fucking Non Starter, buddy.
By the way, my compliments on your choice of clothes today. As always, you really are a very sharp dresser . . . . and on the same vein, a handsome man. You'd do better on the cover of GQ than shilling for the religiously insane.

(24,422 posts)Steele is of course being paid by MSNBC, so I guess he doesn't mind saying all kinds of b.s. whether he believes it or not. I remember Chris Matthews making a quick comment about something Pat Buchanan said a couple of years ago. Chris said, "we pay Pat for his opinions".

That Mike Steele?

(13,141 posts)it's miraculous because of the amazing processes involved,
the magnificent science, the energy of life itself, not the
decision of some willful God.
I'd enjoy challenging the guy, politely, as to why his God
allows the rape to happen, if it's 'his' will for the conception.
Why doesn't their God fill the raped woman's heart with
peace and forgiveness and gratitude, instead of post
traumatic disorders for life?
Sounds like a very narrow minded god.. not one for
me. I prefer the Great Almighty Dog who loves and
forgives.
