True or False? The MSM wants TFG back in the WH.

Fear, Anger, Division, & Outrage generate revenue. Who better to insure that happens.

Your thoughts.

The Press and Trump/GOP seem to have a symbiotic relationship that is destructive for the country. The Press takes it on the chin for Trump but gets their tax cuts when the GOP is in power/Trump/GOP gets substantially more coverage and more positive framing than Democrats/progressives on balance, which helps Trump/GOP maintain and extend their power.

Who's in it?

Are MSNBC and FOX there together?

CNN?

All the newspapers or just some of them?

I'm all for screaming out loud just how bad modern journalism is, the horse race above all reporting, the bothsiderism, the absolute fealty to "balance" above everything else...but no I don't think "the MSM wants Trump back in the WH."

I don't think "they" exist and I don't think "they" care who is in the WH because what they do is the same either way.

88 and 93 respectfully.

The term is respectively, meaning "Referring or applying to two or more things previously mentioned in a parallel or sequential way".

Trump and his parents don't merit being referred to respectfully.

Fake News etc. Didn’t the number of attacks against reporters increase during the assolini administration?

I could see assolini encouraging his supporters to hurt/kill news people that don’t report on him positively. Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, and Putin all ordered his supporters to go after news people. And don’t get me started on what’s happening in China and Hong Kong.

How stupid can they be?

Mechanism and format of that increase irrelevant. Earthquakes, plague, conflict, tin-gods, the idolatry of sacred cows... they're all value commodity to the respective boards.

man. Doesn't matter who is in the job, the media wants to create friction and have a "story." Apparently, even if it means the end of democracy.

Why? Because a right-wing dictatorship will likely cast CNN and MSNBC to the curb and promote Fox to be the Fascist mouthpiece. very much like Tass in Russia.

No doubt that sensationalism sells, always has.

The big turning point was the destruction of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987. The Doctrine although imperfect forced broadcasters and new organizations to give "equal time" to opposing viewpoints.

Once they got rid of that annoying rule, it was free reign to create purely partisan "news" organizations to coddle to one group of viewers or another, creating a dedicated viewership that generated untold billions of dollars of ad revenue.

The more controversial the President the richer they get. And the happier Putin gets - from Obama to Trump it's been nothing but upside for Russia.

I've not compared the number of center-left articles to right wing articles, so I do not know. I also do not watch a lot of stuff from anywhere if the title looks to be some weird negative of VP Harris. I do read much more than I watch... From a lot of different sources ranging from the far right to the far left and many in-between but I, again, tend to skip over the obvious racist hit pieces.

Regardless... That I put down to plain old racism and not having any bearing on if any particular network wants TFG back in office... I don't see attacking the VP over non-sense as a way to achieve that goal. My point was that people tend to think of any network other than FOX to be 'the mainstream' when the reality is that FOX is the most watched... Like it or not, and I do not... That makes them THE mainstream media. So... Based on that alone, the answer is yes.
