who were they?
joseph mccarthy of the red witch hunt and trump.
both employed the same exact practice of accusing people with no evidence all. both were/are massive narcissists. both were glory hounds. while McCarthy served in the army, he boasted of being "tailgunner joe" when in reality he a flew couple of milk runs but that saw no action he was mostly a desk jockey, trump avoided the draft with connections and lots of bullshit.
however, both believed of themselves to be the "undiscovered genius" waiting for their chance to "shine".
roy cohn: aka a piece of shit who helped mold two fucking psychopaths, because he was one himself.

I love the send up Cohn gets in the play/series Angels in America. Haunted in his death bed by Ethel Rosenberg. I like to believe that actually happened.

makes me wonder why all these republican jerks fear trump.

(1,044 posts)He was about as evil as they come. Al Pacino did a great job portraying him in Angels in America.

(22,218 posts)hit back twice as hard. Win at all cost and kill the opposition. Cohn twice tried to destroy America through his representation and mentoring. McCarthy eventually realized he went too far. trump will never stop.
I think we can now identify the psychopathic republican party for what it is - mentored by evil itself. Now they are trying to outdo each other. Cohn was the worst thing to happen to America.
