(269,200 posts)and it's coming from South to North - the south coast and parts of the North east coast are a mess already - sea durge everywhere and massive flooding and now the real wind has landed.
I'm dying to know the wind speed. We must be getting the 95mph gusts and we're far from the coast.
Ah well it will be over before night.

(269,200 posts)but we have power and people in Hanover don't so I'm really not sure who's getting hit or why they lost power.

(111,367 posts)You know it's a hurricane when water is coming through the edges of windows in a fine spray, even when you've made sure they were sealed tight with caulk the week before.
Cat 1 storms are always hardest on trees. Bigger ones start to wreck buildings.
Stay safe, love, and even though Sandy is no lady, at least she won't hang around long.
