landed with a big splat. I don't know what on earth he was expecting but most people sat kind of slack jawed after listening to his "announcement". Andrea Mitchell played it on her show. The reaction was really lackluster and apparently only gave fodder to the late night comics. Oh and the President got a good come back line or two on Jay Leno. Trump's stunt will be forgotten by tomorrow afternoon when the comics and the rest of us move on to something worthwhile. That really should be the last of Trump's attempts to engage the President in a deal......he needs to go wipe the egg off of his face.
