Gee, with the Republicans dispersing voting machines out of the cities, and making "chosen" voters wait in line for hours to vote, how is that possible.
Don't even mention the people like Chuck Todd, and Fox Scum that attack Democrats for being feckless, while the Republicans are literally killing their families outright.
Win more elections Chucky?
Oh, and without voting rights the Republicans will get to count whoever's votes they want too.
Win more elections. Right....

Every news flash I have gotten is a complete lie about what she said!

(54,890 posts)Have Dem friendly billionaires coordinate building up cities in small Red States with jobs and infrastructure to act as magnets for excess Dems from dark deep Blue states.
It would only take a few million (less than 10 million for sure) strategically-planned moves to radically remake the Senate and the Electoral College.
also, concentrate on perma-blueing AZ, NC and GA, and shoring up VA, NV, NH, and CO (to a lesser extent)
Fuck flipping FL and TX, waste of time and huge amounts of cash, the Hispanics are not going to save TX, as so many are converting to RW fundie evangelical xianism, and FL will keep on being a retiring MAGAt magnet (as is TX, plus Red escapees from Blue states like CA) and RW Latino (Cuban and South American RWers) heaven.

(11,162 posts)I am left of probably the most left person you know. I am a progressive by any measure. But because of how we elect our members of Congress and even our president, Democrats are at a disadvantage. Many of our Democratic candidates are leaning further to the left. This is not going to win over the rural voters who are more resistant to progressive ideas. The Democratic party is going to be at an increased electoral disadvantage if they decide they want to be the party of the urban progressive. We have to unite with moderate Democrats, as distasteful as it sometimes is, in order to win more seats are the table.
Even though the majority of Americans live in urban/suburban areas there are a lot more rural areas geographically. Take a look at the electoral maps - it is a sea of red populated by blue dots. Today the voting power of a citizen in Wyoming, the smallest state in terms of population, is about 67 times that of a citizen in the largest state of California, and the disparities among the states is only increasing.
Living in rural Texas - I know "hillbilly" and although I live only 45 miles from Austin the Democratic voter drops off between 17-20 miles from Austin and most cities with populations >100,000.

Dancin' Dave was a buffoon of the highest order. And the sad thing was that NBC kept him on for a long time after THAT stunt.
