(25,544 posts)The other day I happened to go over my DU mailings, the PMs, over the last several years, and saw a few names which had escaped from my memory, but at one time I actually had a corresponding relationship with. Quite a number of these people are gone, some of them for a very long time. Several of these individuals were active and prominent here, and they just vanished. I looked at their final posts and there were in many cases absolutely no indication that they were leaving. There are actually a fair number of us left over from the very early days, I got here in 2004, but it would be most interesting to see who is still here but only lurking, who had left in a fit of pique , and who was tombstoned.

Im proud of every white hair on my head. Every one of them was earned legitimately. And frankly, Im proud that I even still HAVE hair on my head!
By now, I see it as a fashion statement! (Same way I see mask-wearing!)

H2O Man
(73,537 posts)I read his OP here about a week ago. It sounds like he is busy with the Josh Riley campaign to defeat Claudia Tenney in NYS's 22nd district. He's also apprarently writing essays on political organization for another internet site, which to my understanding reaches people from coast to coast. Considering how old and feeble he is, that likely takes all of his energy! (grin)
We have got to maintain control of the House, as you well know, my Wonderful Sister! And that is my current focus in recent times. While I cannot do all the things I used to do, I'm finding that there are some new things for me to do. So one can teach an old dog new tricks!
