They want the chaos created by TFG because that really drove their numbers and sales higher. That's what they want so in order to achieve that again, they have to tear down the current guy, even under the flimsiest and most outlandish of reasons.

The media is not liberal. The media is driven by money like almost everything else in this capitalist country. In order to achieve and obtain that money, they need Republicans in power. As such, they will do anything they can to accomplish that/.
