This is the kind of post which we love to believe, since it matches our confirmation bias. Way too easy to run with it - and then find out later it was just someone pulling a practical joke

I'm not accusing you of making it up - but I don't trust too "good" to be true stories without support. A bald post on DU (or Reddit) isn't support I trust.

Looking more closely at Reddit - and it is labeled, "Maybe Fake, But We Like It." I.e. it satisfies our confirmation bias, so we don't care if it's true or not.

Looking for external excuses for a lack of workforce and treating the pandemic like it is simply a nuisance.

If their business fails, they'll blame others, but the reason stares back at them from the mirror.
