The only place that did go there is TMZ, and theyre almost always correct.
He was VERY opposed to vaccine mandates, stating support for anti-vaxxers in Australia.
He supposedly died from Covid, very soon after contracting it.
Also an outspoken supporter of TFG.
Do The Math!
Far be it from them to make known the need to be vaccinated to save future deaths. They would rather protect his image, and save the realization his death was likely very preventable.

(52,286 posts)They are quick to get the story out and they are pretty quick to pull it or correct if when it turns out wrong.
Which is fine if you know to take early reports with a grain of salt.
In this case though, I'd say Covid is a damn good guess....

(15,223 posts)Hes had several surgeries over the last couple of years for back problems, etc. It was almost like, to me, that there was a drastic change in his mentality. Could it have been a drug addiction from pain killers for the back issues that caused his change in mentality? Who knows.
I loved his music. I dont support Trump and I think its important to be vaccinated. But Im not going to villify the man in his death. Hes dead. Thats punishment enough. Whether or not he was vaxxed isnt known. Like so many idiot politicians, he may have railed yet vaxxed himself. I dont know. Surely his doctors would have strongly urged him to get vaccinated.
The articles say his family was at his side and that makes me wonder if it was COVID. Dont know.
I think the media has moved beyond the mention of COVID when there are other health issues.

episode of Dan Rather's "The Big Interview" in 2016:
He seemed pretty normal to me, even self-deprecating, during the interview.
He was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, a heart condition, in 2003 after collapsing on stage (it happened more than once after that):
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/wolff-parkinson-white-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20354626
He never appeared to be physically fit or truly healthy even when he lost weight. I think he'd be a fool not to be vaccinated if he didn't have a medical condition contraindicating it.

(65,134 posts)...very overproduced to the point that production doesn't match the song.
Then, that Dashboard tune is just boring, despite it's great success.
BTW: The husband of my wife's good friend was high school friends with Karla DeVito who was the video for that song and did it on tour with Meatloaf for years. She did not sing the original version. That was Ellen Foley.

(10,143 posts)in a nearly-empty theater, mainly because I had seen Tim Curry in Travesties on Broadway. The movie was initially a flop: it took a while for it to get popular. I turned down a chance to see the Broadway production because I had a limited amount of time in NYC, there was something else I wanted to see at the time. By the time I got back it had closed.
Never went to one of the Rocky Horror "events".

(3,064 posts)There was a lot of audience participation in it and all. I went with a girl I was quite fond of, and vice versa.
She'd begged me to go with her for awhile. I preferred sawdust covered hippie bars for Saturdays with her and from what I'd heard of Rocky Horror it had no attraction for me.
We were at a double screen movie house in Highland Park, a very wealthy suburb of Dallas( a mere two screens; imagine that) and the other being played was a Lynyrd Skynyrd movie and after about 45 minutes I quietly slipped into the Skynyrd show. Told her I'd see her after the shows.
She was a real sweetie. I think she knew my chances of actually liking it were nil. We dated a while longer than that and kind of lost track. It was for the best. I was way too wild for her. And she came from a pretty high toned background and was very lovely.
Back then having long, pretty hair, being thin as a rail, and having a guitar you could actually play went a long way.

Meatloaf clearly made a mistake in judgement not getting vaxxed, but he's had health and emotional problems for years.
I will say about him what I say for all who die: May he rest in peace and be surrounded by the perpetual light of Divine love and learning. He has moved on.
