Russia, give them an inch they’ll take a mile.Putin still dreams of being emperor of the Soviet Union. He is going to push as far as he can just to see what the limit is. I don’t think we’re risking World War III. We may have to find other fuel besides their oil. I’d love to see economic sanctions put on these oligarchs

100 seconds until midnight on the doomsday clock, amigo. The Ukrainians will make dirty bombs from Chernobyl waste if they have to.

Recall the nuclear missile explosion in the Russian Arctic in 2019? Either it was accidental or intentional. Either way, the Russian nuclear arsenal is not secure or safe.

Megalomania is now a rampant mental disease and and best confronted ASAP, especially the most dangerous.

And that is debatable.

We never unified Germany, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all manner of other countries we invaded.

The only country where we were "successful" in that endevour was Japan. But they were completely subjugated.

The US has not won a war since The Revolutionary War. Even the Civil War was a failure with reconstruction.

The US has never been good at or achieved anything when it comes to war. We just played a part in the conflicts that the rest of the world were fighting and created our own that we completely failed at achieving.

And maybe that's a good thing. Maybe Ukraine needs to be partitioned. We'll see.

But your point still stands. For all the people constantly braying about the asshole who formally occupied the White House being Hitler, seems there are some willing to let the actual "historical echo of Hitler" do what he wants! The former defiler of the White House was Mussolini, at best....and that is a stretch!

to the strictest sanctions, plus as much arms supplies, etc to keep more Ukrainians alive, and perhaps slow Putin down.

The more casualties they can inflict on Russian soldiers maybe the more the Russian populous will protest.

The Ukraine was the Soviet Union's bread basket.

If it happens I will be upset. I read a historians book of mix of narrative, and interviews with Ukrainians who fought against the Russians in the '13-'14 war. 😔
And certainly growing up I didn't like that it had been usurped into the USSR

A lot of people have not heard of The Ukraine. It's weird to have it be on the world stage, and if course not for good reasons.
